New Revolt Skirt

>> Friday, July 23, 2010

Last weekend, Alloy.com was giving free shipping for no minimum purchase, so I took the chance to finally bought the cutest skirt ever, the REVOLT DESTROYED JEAN SKIRT in size 3 for only $14.99. It features five-pocket with studs along side seams and heavy destruction. Good thing it was on sale now after a few months of waiting for it to be cheaper. It regularly priced from $30 which is so much for a skirt.

Anyway, the skirt is very cute and sexy. I love it! It fits my small frame perfectly, it looks super hot on and it goes with everything, casual or for a night out. The waist is a bit tight for the size but the length is good and it doesn't appear to be too short. It's so comfortable to wear. It is my most versatile piece of clothing! I just can't wait to wear them for the next few days...

Marketing New Strategy

Wanted to increase traffic in your business website? Or wanted to make a remarketing for your products and services? Whatever your business is, remarketing strategy can help you with it. To define remarketing, it is the technique for those marketers today who had been targeting a market in all particular websites which has lots of traffic. Traffic means people who visited the websites regularly or even people who visit the website for some business purpose or just personal.

To know more about remarketing, it is the idea of getting your customer back. It reminded me of one website that I love to shop because of their wide selection of products from shoes to handbags. Sometimes, it is just too overwhelming to shop for two days in a row so I had to back out for a while and avoid over spending again. Then, I visited some other websites which the store I used to shop was there; their banner ads keep on following me. The relevant of it is that those products, I searched on their website were the ones that appeared on the banner ads? Isn’t that smart or what? So, I clicked the ads again and went back to the website. Then, I ended up buying the shoes because I really like the it.

On the other hand, I think the store that I used to shop was using a retargeting technique which already filtered my search and knows what to do to make me come back. This is indeed a good way to promote more shoppers, customers, consumers to drive through on your online business, so search for retargeting companies today that will help you build your business into a success and make your online business effective to people.

The Sun Rising

This week on Saturday 9:

1. When was the last time that you watched a sunrise? Who were you with?

Who cares anyway? It is just funny and ridiculous. In my life, well, I don't have anybody, oh wait, a friend of mine, they always have a fight with her husband and that's funny because every time we chat, they're having some misunderstanding again and all the time it was the same problem.

6. Where was the last bed that you slept in that was not your own?
=The last bed I slept, well, my mother in law's bed at her cabin up north. It was last April of this year when we went up there for an Easter vacation.

Web Hosting Solutions

>> Thursday, July 22, 2010

If you own a small to medium size businesses and wanted to build your own website then you might have to consider some few things. Before you think about managed hosting you will first need to decide whether or not you need a dedicated server. You need a dedicated server hosting if you have a high-traffic web site but if you only have a small web site with low traffic levels then a shared hosting arrangement should be fine. In order to gets your business going and you will have a steady service going on then dedicated server hosting is right for you.

Many web hosts who once provided only shared and dedicated server hosting are now beginning to offer managed hosting solutions too, where it starts based on web hosting directories and search engines. If you are looking for the best hosting management then you have to find a reliable and fast support and the quality of the services offered by a web host. If you are looking for colocation services then you might have to consider something to host your own web hosting as well. Searching online can help you out with it on finding the best web hosting services for your website such as Superb.net.

Their service features was better if you can find a hosting provider that offers enough disk space. You would need this in order for you to publish as much information needed to run your online business. Then, make sure that the hosting provider has a 24 hours and 7 days a week technical support just like the superb.net. You'll never know when those technical glitches would come, so it's always better to work with a provider that has a round-the-clock customer service that can answer your questions and fix your website issues at any time.

I think using local.com is quite very convenient for us as well. Since we were using it for quite a long time and using it as our local search engine is already a part of us. If we were looking for an auto shop, a flower shop, a bakery, a resale stores, I always find it at Local.com.

The What Would You Do Meme

This week on The Queen's meme:

1. You start out on your road trip. You are 90 miles down the road with not a care in the world until you remember you forgot the most important ingredient needed for your vacation. What was it and would you turn around and go back to get it?
=My all time favorite swimsuit that hides my baby fats and I couldn't find it anywhere else anymore? Well, I would surely be irritated and annoyed. Well, if we drove for about 90 miles already and waste gas? Well, not a good idea to go back. I just rather buy a new swimsuit to wear.

2. You are standing in the checkout line at the grocery store. A homeless man walks by and asks for food from your grocery cart. What would you do?
=Well, first it was not being paid yet, so I think I will not give it to him. I rather give him money to buy his own food. Or else just ignore him, LOL! Bad!

3. The mailman delivers the wrong mail. It is your neighbor's. You can't stand your neighbor. You realize that inside the small brown package there must be something very secretive, very intriguing and possibly incriminating. What do you do?
=I can really relate to this! Oh my! Well, it happened to us once. We got her letters and bills and I asked my husband instead to give it to her. I don't open letters that is not mine. I don't care what it is as long as it is not on my name, I won't bother. Even my husband's letter and packages, I don't open. Remember the golden rule? LOL!

4. Photography Class 101. First exam. The slide show you are presenting is the wrong one. You accidentally left last weekend's party pics in the camera instead. The whole class is watching....
= Well, I would turn off the slideshow right away as in as soon as possible. Then, I would make an excuse and maybe drop the class after ward.

5. You find your boss's wife on Facebook. She is obviously carrying on with another man in blatant fashion and behind his back. What is the first thing that pops into your head when you see your boss the next day at work?
=Well, I will not do anything about it. I don't want to be a part of it. I just keep my mouth shut because I don't know what his wife's capability and I think if she can do like this behind his husband's back then she's a b*t(H...If she's a B, she's a waste of time.

6. Your plane lands in the wrong vacation spot but you like this one better.
=Well, I would love to hear it. Other than landing in Florida it was the Philippines. That sounds good to me but I guess I should have to enjoy it for a few days.

7. You walk out of the doctor's office. The news after your yearly checkup is very very good but the news for the person you'd been sitting beside and chatting with in the waiting room is very very bad. You see them in the elevator on the way out and they are in tears. You.....
=I would just say nothing because we're not that close. I just talked to her while waiting for our appointments but doesn't mean that I could sympathize with her. I think it is better for me to just be quiet and maybe just touch her or hug her might feel her better.

Emergency Protocols

When my husband and I watched the movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last month, we went to a different theater. This is actually the first time we had to go this theatre and to see what it is look like. I never been to this place yet and so looking for an emergency exit alarm is quite a first priority. When I was sitting inside the theater while waiting for the show to get started, I was looking for the emergency door as well. Good thing they are on both sides of the room. The thing is we’re quite far away from where sit but I’m thinking of having a good watch while thinking of something might happen.

At the end of the movie, good thing that nothing happened and everything was good as well as the movie itself. I like the theater though. Aside from various emergency protocols, I find it very clean and comfortable theater plus it’s cheaper than any other theater. Maybe next time we’re going back here to watch our anticipated movies of this year.

2) Tell about one of your scars.
=My scars? well, I have lots of scars but some of them were already disappearing. But there are some scars that was deep and still visible to the naked eye. Buying Tickets Online

Two weeks to go before my husband’s birthday and I’m thinking about what to give to him as a birthday present. I’m thinking about giving him a beach vacation getaway but I can’t afford it. I have to find something else, I was looking and searching online and I have found some great deals on theater tickets. I thought it might be a good idea to send him out on a concert or maybe a sport event. Maybe, he will like to watch a concert and I’m thinking about getting a ticket to watch a comedy show of Tyler Perry's 'Madea's One Big Happy Family' but it was in Maryland at 1st Mariner Arena. I have found some 1ST MARINER ARENA TICKETS online for cheap but I guess it will never be cheap for us if we fly over there, then it will cost us money again.

Anyway, I keep looking around until I looked locally at Comerica Park, well, COMERICA PARK TICKETS are only good for EMINEM, Vans Warped Tour, and Detroit Tigers. I’m thinking maybe watching his favorite team of baseball will make him happy on his birthday. Now, I wanted to buy the ticket for August 3rd because that’s his birthday, a game between Detroit Tigers
versus the Chicago White Sox. I think this is going to be fun for him and for us as well.

Well, I like shopping online for tickets because you can actually save money. There are a lot of tickets you can choose from, from Movie Theater, concerts, musical, sports game and more. They also have an availability of any shows three months from now such as the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Tickets which was shown on November 5 at New York, NY. One of the best theatrical shows in regards with the holiday season.

If you are looking for tickets online just come and visit acheapseat.com for more tickets sales.

New Shoes for Me!

Last week, Famous Footwear was having an exclusive offer for its fan on Face book. I’m on of the lucky fans that enjoyed their offer of $10 off to any $10 order and free ground shipping. So, I went to their website right away because the coupon will only last for 24 hours. I went to their clearance section first and good thing one of my favorite shoes was on sale. I’ve been waiting for these shoes to be on sale and luckily I can grab now at a lowest price. There are two shoes that I ordered to see which one I would like the most in person.

The shoes are the Fergalicious women's taboo and Blowfish women's sover on size 6. If I like both of them probably will keep them. Fergalicious is a good brand by Fergie. This women’s taboo was so cute that I couldn’t get off my eyes of it. I bought it in black color, though there is other color available on tan. It features a faux-leather upper with dual ankle straps, rear zipper closure and a round toe which I find so adorable. Then the Blowfish women’s sover was cute too but I don’t know if I really like it but will see but I love the idea of purple color interior of the shoe. I order them in black too. It features a faux-leather upper with thick, rouched ankle cuff and rear zipper closure and a round toe.

The good thing is Famous Footwear offered 40% off on Blowfish women’s sover for only $29.99 from $49.99, then with a coupon $10 and my reward certificate of $5, I only get them for $14.99. Not so bad at all. Then, the Fergalicious women’s taboo was actually more than that from $49.99, then 20% off it was mark down to $39.99, then I have $15 off then, I only paid about $26 with tax already. Then, I got them for free ground shipping. So for both of them I already spent $42, not bad for the two pair of shoes.

Now, I can’t wait to get my shoes on the mail. They’re on their way now to my door. I just can’t wait! I wish I won’t have any trip to the store to return one of them. I hope not but if I will, then I probably will find something else at the store. The thing is, I just don't want to waste the coupon and my reward certificate. Oh well, let see.

UPDATE:

I received the two shoes already and I'm loving of them! Well, I guess I have to keep them for more years of use.

What I mean is, every time we buy shoes for my son, it always been Stride Rite. Every time we buy, it is always one pair of shoes and it lasted for years and years until my son outgrow it. The best thing about their shoes was durability and the quality. Their shoes were excellent that I couldn't ask for more but of more choices I guess. I wish they will make a lot of option on style especially on sandals and slippers. However, the overall quality was amazing. The price is understandable. You can get them for $35 but it's all worth the price. Trust me their shoes are beyond that price.

Now, as what I'm saying, Stride Rite lovers might love this idea of free shipping and additional 25% off. You can get 25% off in stores only and free shipping online. Hurry these deals will end on July 18 and July 21 respectively.

Anyway, I wanted to buy my son a pair of new sandal but unfortunately I could have found his size. I wish they have more stocks on his size of 9 and 9.5. Well, I guess it is better to go to the store and maybe I could find something more!

This post has nothing to do with Stride Rite or its affiliates. This is my own opinion and thoughts that I wanted to share to my readers.

Car that saves Fuel Economically

There are a lot of options when it comes to finding your dream car, but it always depend on how much money you got to buy one. My husband and I were looking forward to buy another car but we’re thinking of maybe getting a used one. I thought it might be a good idea to just get a new car so we don’t have any problem in the long run. If we could only buy a used but still brand new. However, it is also important to think about how the car saves us money too. To understand the condition and performance of the car is what matter most when it comes to buying a car, how is supposed to run and other mechanical performances. Also if we consider buying used, then it is important for us to find out the history of the car, such as whether or not the vehicle has ever been involved in an accident, a flood or other incident that may affect its performance.

Anyway, I’ve been looking for a car online and I have a found a better review on toyota matrix, the fuel economy is good, the riding quality was better than the one I saw a few days ago, a Scion xD. There are some problems with this car, but the overall rating was excellent, I find the car very nice too. I really like the idea of an SUV type of car and this was all I ever wanted.

Though, my husband wants me to have a big car. There are a lot of choices when it comes to big SUV’s such as bmw x3 and toyota sequoia. I have found it nice but the price is beyond we can afford at this time. There is subaru tribeca which is higher in rating when it comes to safety handling. This what my husband wants for me. He was just over protective but I was not so sure about big cars yet. Though, I like the Subaru Tribeca, the price wasn’t that bad. The toyota sequoia wasn’t really my taste at all.

Well, it is good to know that before buying a car online we can able to find reviews and rating from customers and this is a good basis to find the best car I wanted! I just can’t wait now to buy myself a new car!

Sturdy and Classy Mailboxes

Are you looking for a Residential Mailboxes or a Commercial Mailboxes? If you do then you might want to check this huge selection of mailboxes at Mailboxixchange.com. Mailboxixchange is a website where you can find classy and yet elegant types of Mailboxes. I have been looking for a perfect mailbox for quite a while now since my mother in law needed a new one. She had been using this plastic mailbox and every time the strong wind blew it away, it ended up being on the road. So she had to call my husband to put it up or my brother in law to help her out. I thought she really needs a mailbox that will stand strong during windy season and even rainy, winter season. Sometimes living in an unpredictable weather is what always something with it.

Anyway, I have found this mailbox for her. It was not that cheap compare to the plastic one she had but it is quite sturdy and high quality made. It will last for a long period of time. Spending almost $200 for a piece of mailbox and post are worthy of the price, if you got a mailbox just like the one on the picture. It absolutely the best mail box because it will keep your mails and packages safe. It can hold multiple every day worth of mail and larger packages and even newspaper and magazines. It was made with aluminum where you can also choose colors such as black, white, bronze, and green. My mother in law would love the bronze color.

Well, I will recommend this website to her and maybe she could find a new mail box someday. There are a lot of mail boxes she could choose from and I bet she will find the best one for her.

Shopping for a Car

>> Friday, July 09, 2010

Do you know that there’s another way for you to check out if your car need a new water pump replacement? My friend told me about it. It was just so easy to find out, when you parked your car through the night, put a large white piece of paper underneath your car. In the morning check the paper. If the paper is wet with liquid, you could have a water pump leak. If there’s a little bit of green color in it, then you have to check your cooling system too. If you water is leaking it might lead to corrosion on some part of the engine of your car, therefore, it is necessary to replace it right away or contact a Chicago auto repair shop or any other shop that might near of where you lived.

Well, I don’t have that much knowledge about car repairs actually, but if I could get a chance to get a car of my own, I would be willing to learn how to repair it on my own. If I have given a chance to own a car, I would love to get a Toyota Corolla. I have been practicing driving before using a Toyota Corolla car and I wish I could have one someday.

Unfortunately, I have found some amiss when I was reading about it online. I never thought Toyota Corolla would be such a great problem. I just wish that I could get something better model, if I will buy my own car eventually. Well, I will just keep on shopping for a car and who knows I might get the best one someday.

A Little Proud

It has been a month now that I haven’t done any shopping anymore, well, except yesterday where I went to shop and buy some clothing for my son, but aside from that I haven’t done any shopping yet for almost a month now. I am a little bit proud of my accomplishments so far. Thanks to my determination of doing so. I really hate it when I spent my blogging money on something that I don’t really need, but if I find the product adorable, I don’t even hesitate to just ignore it but rather spend a few dollars on it. I always hated myself because of lack of control when it comes to sale stuff. I know that there will be a lot of sales and discounts in the future but sometimes I don’t want to miss the opportunity which is so crazy.

Now, I was so proud that I finally cope up the willingness to shop for more. I tried to control myself now and I guess I am working so well on it. For the meantime, I was trying to save money too for our future trip. We’re looking forward to it and hopefully we can able to do so.

Kid's Clothing

Yesterday, I went to the mall to get some of the kid’s clothing that was on sale. I went to The Children’s Place because that's where I usually bought my son's clothing. I got him a new pair of pull on cargo shorts, tees, polo shirts and some matchable tanks for him to wear during the hot summer days. Good thing some of their items were on sale and then additional 40% off was an awesome deal. Plus, I have a 15% off coupon and that’s where I got about almost half off. All in all I only paid $26! Then later on, I went to Crazy 8 to look for something on sale as well.

Now, they were having a monster sale again for 50% off and if you have their 15% off coupon, then 65% savings are all worth the price! If you shop online, you will enjoy for only $5 shipping of any purchase.

I always shop clothes for my son at The Children’s Place, their clothing runs big and my son could wear their products for a few years. Then, all their products’ design and style is just like a little man’s clothing selection. I just loved it and so as my husband too.

Now, I can't wait to go back sometime soon to grab new items on the rack and maybe new selections that are on sale!

If there's a Will, there's a Way

I have read online and even offline about how to readily lose the belly fat so fast. I never thought if really there’s a way to get rid of it but I still believe that if there’s a will, there’s a way. I could relate to it because my sister once had belly fat before she got pregnant of her first child. I remember of how she had this belly fats and then after a couple of months of dieting, working out, and doing it consistently, she eventually lost those belly fats. I know that there’s a way to get rid of belly fat. I have seen it and I know I can do it too. I think proper diet is first thing to consider, then, working out is next. Doing the exercise persistently is a good attitude to reach certain goal. I wish I will have my sister’s dependable mental outlook to do it every day. I know it was so hard but I guess if there’s a will, then there’s a way!

A Lending Hand

Last weekend when our Internet connection was out of edge, I find other means to keep myself busy. I went shopping for toy box for my son to put in the living room, then, I bought some groceries as well, and I went to the mall to buy something for my son, a new set of clothing. Good thing due to the 4th of July weekend, some stores were having some sale. Then, I went home and do some office makeover. Since my father in law lend us his swivel chair for our office table we don’t need to buy a new a office furniture anymore. Well, we will linger on his furniture for a while until he wanted it back. Then, we can buy a new chair to match our office table. I think it was so nice of him lending the swivel chair to us. I was so glad that he was a lending hand that we can always count on no matter what the cost. I think it was just a nice opportunity for us.

Kitchen Galleries

>> Tuesday, July 06, 2010

Thanks to my buddy Howard Jones for the post.

While shopping for ideas on how to remodel our kitchen, we visited every local kitchen gallery. Here they have every upgrade imaginable showcased to give you ideas on how to bring out the best in the products offered. We ended up using sears home improvement michiganto help us with the task. Of course, the higher end cabinets and fixtures caught my eye and made me long for an endless pile of cash so I could bring them home into my kitchen. But that wasn't our reality, so we had to make due with what we have.

Surprisingly, there were cabinets, sinks and faucets that matched our price range and budget for the project. We did end with an upscale appearance on a low budget. Even the low to midrange cabinets created a spectacular result worthy of before and after photos for the contractor's website.

We are quite happy with what we found at the local kitchen gallery, the prices and options displayed there, and the helpful advice we received from the employees. If we had to do it over again, we would not use the same contractor. His skill level was not as high as how he originally presented himself. The lesson learned here is to get references and check them before signing on for such a big project. It can mean the difference between staying within your budget, both money-wise, and time-wise.

Sleeping Habit

>> Friday, July 02, 2010

For these past few days, one of the problems I had was lack of sleeping. I slept until 2 pm everyday today since I slept at night around 4 or 5 in the morning. It may sound so ridiculous but that’s what I was doing so lately. I hate it but I can’t do anything about it. When I try to go to bed around 11pm or 12 am even, I can’t sleep at all. Though, I tried to turn on the lights earlier and keep the noise down, I still couldn’t sleep. I wish I could take sleeping pills but I wasn’t sure if that’s a good alternative for me to do. I think I have to do something else before I could do of taking pills as my last resort to do.

Just Can't Get Enough

Most people has addiction, vices that they can’t able to escape. Some drinks alcohol, used drugs, some smoke cigars, and to others desserts is the main reason why. For me, well, it may sound so funny but I was addicted to shopping, therefore I don’t have a doubt when I create my website, “A Shopaholic Diary, “I love to shop. Even window shopping can do to ease my burden of not buying anything. Later, I find myself addicted to it. If I have seen something on sale or if I could get a discount, I can’t get enough to just look at it, but rather to buy the product. Some of the products that I love to shop about are clothing, shoes, and purses. I am not so into jewelry and even other accessories. I think I am more on those three and even though I have already enough, I just can't get enough. I don’t know if there’s a cure for this but I guess one thing is for sure, if there’s no money, I can’t buy anything.

So, I asked my husband to deposit some of my money on the bank, no charge card has been issued. No check either, but I can withdraw if I wanted to but I kept it as a secret from me to know the password on online banking. I know it is hard but I have to do to trim my addictions on shopping.

Eyeing on Dresses

For these past few days, I have wanted to buy new dresses again. Last weekend, I went to the mall to look for some dresses, I have found two pairs at my favorite store, Charlotte Russe. I’ve been eyeing on these dresses, waiting for them to be on sale and finally they did. The dresses was so cute, I couldn’t help myself not to buy them. Good thing, Charlotte Russe was having sale for 50% off so I bought the Printed Side Pocket Babydoll Dress and Printed And Embroidered Halter Dress, but I have to return the second one because I don’t really like it that much and get something else, instead. Well, I actually saved more money than shopping online though at the store because I could able to use my husband’s military card for a 10% discount.

Then, I bought a sandal too which I have been wanting for a while now, it’s a Studded T-Strap Flat Sandals for only $12.50 that I wore yesterday when hubby and I went to watched a movie. I went online to shop for more, I have found new items that are on sale right now and I was still looking at them. I just can’t help it!

Body Building for Men Only

A lot of men when doing workout, they always have to make sure that there muscle was getting buffer too. I thought why. Isn’t it enough to just have lost some of those belly fats and just make your body toned and healthy? Well, I asked my husband about it. He told me that it is not enough to just have lost our fats but to make the muscle stronger.

To build up some muscle is a good thing too. It helps them to be feeling secured and confident. I bet they do! I think women too but I guess too much was not going to be a good thing right? I have seen some women who did body building too, I think they also take body building supplement just to became a buff. I bet it is not good to look at when you are a woman. I think it was just too much and not consider sexy at all. I think body/muscle building is just for men only.
