13 things I Love and Hate about Motherhood
>> Friday, October 03, 2008
My Thursday Thirteen is bit late today, it was supposed to be yesterday but I was so pretty busy since my sister was still here yesterday and we had so much things to rather talk about...
Anyway, I wanted to share about the 13 things I love and hate about being a mother, based on my experience and some related things about it.
Anyway, I wanted to share about the 13 things I love and hate about being a mother, based on my experience and some related things about it.
- I love being a mother in a sense that it is so fulfilling, seeing my tot now is so flattering and joyful experience.
- I always feel love. To love and to take good care of somebody is a sweetest thing to do. I always felt that for my son
- I hate spending too much money for clothing, especially for my son. I know he grows so fast and though some of his clothes are still new, we need to buy new ones...again...better to look for a resale shop.
- I hate changing diapers, all over and over again...even spending money in diapers! I must have to potty train him soon!
- I felt so happy and proud for having a son, especially if you're around with someone who doesn't have any kids yet and envied you for having one.
- I hate labor! When I was in the hospital, I thought I would die, but thanks to epidural...but still...it's so painful and hard!
- I love looking at my son's baby photos. I missed him being small and vulnerable. On number 6, I said, I hate labor but when I saw my son smiling, it's all went away, and it's really worth it!
- I feel like my husband loved me even more of giving him a child....
- I love watching cartoon shows, now I have a cute, nice excuse! :)
- I don't really hate it nor love it, but I'm tired of picking up toys on the floor and on every stuff in the house which some toys and things were out of hand and not supposed to...sometimes, I just rather wait 'till the end of the day to pick up things and back them into place....
- Waking up in the middle of the night, since my son was crying out of his nerve, wanted to be held but I wanted to sleep, sleep!!!
- At the mall, I love shopping for baby, toddler clothes! Love them and I love shopping for one!
- I love being called, "Mama" my son now called me Mama...and there's nothing could ever CHANGE this wonderful feeling and seeing him smiling at me is even more precious!...
